The Youth Ministry (LoudGen) of Pasir Panjang Hill Brethren Church (PPHBC)

 

I have been serving in my Church's Media Ministry since 2014. The ministry is responsible for all social media and publicity material, photography coverage for events, the production of videos for the Church, and other adhoc media-related duties. At the start​ of 2019, I stepped up to head the ministry. As a leader, my roles include administration responsibilities, such as the delegation of duties amongst members and the enforcement of our standard protocol, as well as pastoral responsibilities, such as ensuring each member of the team is coping well with their tasks.

"A Land For All" Social Media Marketing Campaign
(Creative Department)

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)

 

My team ideated and executed a social media campaign to educate youths on MOM’s measures and how they support our migrant workers. As part of the Creative Department, I designed and animated collaterals for our Instagram, Facebook, website, and more.

Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP)

I was selected for GEIP, and completed a 6-month internship at Circles.Life. My main roles included assisting with campaign materials/assets and activation for social media and other marketing platforms. On top of that, I was tasked with crafting, launching & managing an influencers programme. At the same time, we were put through rigorous training and had to create, prototype, and pitch a start-up to investors and GIA lecturers at the end of the semester.

I served a stint in my school's society EXCO, where my role in the marketing committee requires me to develop Instagram posts and stories, and provide photography and videography coverage for our events. On top of my responsibilities in the marketing committee, the EXCO is in charge of planning for General Meetings and other internal school events, including our annual Freshmen Bonding Camp. This has helped me hone my leadership and collaborative skills, and it has been a fruitful journey of self-discovery and growth thus far.

FMS 30th Anniversary Planning Committee

As part of our school's 30th anniversary celebration, a team of students and staff banded together to organise an event to showcase the school, its achievements, history, and alumni. I was one of 30 students involved in the planning for the event. In my role as head of the graphic design department, I was working closely with the Publicity team to design content for the Instagram page. I was also tasked with delegating the work to my team members, and ensuring the graphics were designed in a timely manner, so as to uphold the media schedule.
